PEMA has named George Stapleton as their Search and Rescue Coordinator. George has created a Search and Rescue Advisory Committee. Memberhip consists of the PSARC, DCNR, CAP, US&R PA-TF1 and PAEHS. The Committee will work towards recognition, certification, and credentialing of Wilderness SAR teams in Pennsylvania.
